I have scoliosis and one side of my back sticks out making it painful to do crunches etc on a normal yoga mat. I used an everlast brand pad at a hotel gym and it was so much more comfortable for me, but that brand is $100+.So i got this mat. It works well for me for any exercises on my back, much more comfy! though the material is a bit cheaper and noisy when moving around, but not a big deal. It is unfortunately a lot more uncomfortable to do exercises on my front, planks etc, there is too much sinking and it causes more wrist pain.This product is great, I would buy it again. I like the available 3ft wide width, its a little stiff at first but seems to be breaking in. I use it for various stretches & movements at home, that are associated with spine & core health.I like the mat. It is a nice size and easy to use. I do wish the foam was a little firmer but it does what I need.No dislikes all goodBOught to help protect my knee on the floor to do floor exercises does the job And folds up pretty reasonable sizeLo utilizo para hacer ejercicio y es perfectoI am so glad I did not buy the 1' thick ones. This is great for meditation & exercising. I used to meditate in a sitting position but found out you can aline your spine much better in lying down with 2 large pillows under your legs. Also can use wrist weight in lying down with less stress on my spine.We recently changed our flooring from carpet to hard flooring. I purchased this mat and I am so glad I have it. It is durable and it has a nice thickness to it so I can do my exercises comfortably. You won't be disappointed if you purchase this mat.I have hardwood floors that make floor exercise uncomfortable and a thin mat would be useless. This was the best thick mat for value.Two minor issues, 2 feet wide is a bit tight for pushups, I'd have preferred another 6 inches width, but I've adapted to it. Also my cats like the fabric and all of them want to sharpen their claws on it, so I have to store it high and be careful about leaving it out on the floor unattended.Neither of those issues though is a defect of the product as represented. The next step up for mats in size is much more expensive so I probably would take this one over a larger much more expensive one regardless.The folding makes it easy to store.This is a terrible mat. I ordered a different one before this and needed a second. Because I can compare to the first one which is amazing - this is squishy like a sponge, material is loose, there is only one handle so the first is basically useless.Super disappointed, I will be returning.The material feels thin and slippery. It makes loud crinkly noises whenever you change positions which is not relaxing! As for the thick foam, it compresses easily and gives no more support that my regular yoga mat.
