Again, I usually never post reviews but this will be my second one ever! The yoga mat got to my place after only two days of ordering it! I love that is made by all bio-degradable products and does not have weird smell. The yoga mat is extremly light weight and still durable! I love the pattern on the mat because it helps you keep a great grip! I thought the mat was extremely sticky! Now, if you want to do hot yoga like another rewiew mentioned of course you are going to need to get a stickly yoga towel (size of a mat) and that would help. But in all seriousness I thought it was very sticky and where I live we have a lot of huminty and I was sweaty and had NO GRIP ISSUES! All around I love EVERYTHING ABOUT IT! I did my research and glad I tried this brand I had never heard of out!I may have to write another review to discuss how the wear and tear handles due to it being bio-degradable. Seems so far good though! Good luck on your search and really consider this mat! Namaste!I use this mat in my daily bikram practices, and I love it. Granted, I do use a towel over it (you have to in Bikram, so no complaints there) but I think this mat is great for several reasons.1) Unlike my cheap brand mat, this does not absorb sweat. While it does pool on the surface (kinda gross) it doesn't act as a sponge for the sweat (and the smell). Spray it down with a mat cleaner or hose once in a while, and it is good to go.2) Not as thick, which I think makes balancing easier.3) Lightweight and good for travel.4) Seems to hold up well. I practice 7-10 times a week, and this mat hasn't shown any signs of slowing down.5) Compatible with multiple brands of towels. Works with my yogitoes, manduka, yogarat, and even normal towels.For what I needed, I think this is an awesome buy!I got this lovely purple yoga mat for my teenage niece - she loves it! As I teach her the yoga postures, I can rest assure that the materials this mat is made from will not be harmful to her or the environment. A very good yoga lesson indeed.It only lasted a year after daily use, but while it lasted it was a good mat. I like the 3mm thickness to get better grounding while executing poses.I used it for the 1st time last night for bikram yoga class. It worked exactly what I hoped for. Love this mat!!It arrived on time too.Not good for standing wide standing positions for Yoga. Doesnt grip for a strong Stance. Mat stretches under my feet.Perfect for hot yoga as it does not soak up perspiration and cleans up easily. Rolls up into a smaller roll compared to other mats.perfect, great price. kulae makes quality products!I really like this product as it is biodegradable and does not contain harmful chemicals. It doesn't smell like the cheaper PVC mats and has a good amount of cushioning. The grip is quite good but does slip occasionally. It is also slightly longer than the standard mats.It gets a little slippery with sweat, but overall I am happy with this mat.
