This is an excellent mat that doesn't stretch but is thick enough to be comfortable and prevent me from slipping on it.It took me forever to find the right mat. I already had a 1/4" (6mm) mat that I bought many years ago. I started doing pilates classes during the quarantine and I realized I needed more support for my knees. I found Koa Yoga mats on Amazon and I fell in love with the colors and with the fact that they donate to dog charities; plus, this mat is a bit thicker than the one I have so it works great for my pilates class. The picture with the towel was taken when it arrived, the other picture was taken today, a month after using it everyday. I think it is a very good product and one of my friends got the purple one and she really likes it too. Needless to say the purple one is beautiful too! The only thing I would like to say is that if you are looking for a mat to hold long standing positions all the time you might want to purchase a 1/4". I am not a yoga or pilates pro, so it is a bit challenging for me to hold standing positions for a long time in this mat. However, I either use my old mat for those positions or even the floor. Yet, that rarely happens and I am very happy with this mat. And trust me, the colors ( green, purple) are beautiful!Where has this mat been all my life? Not to be dramatic but it blows all other yoga mats I've owned out of the water. I love the little extra thickness - 8mm vs 6mm. The color is great, the design is great. It lays flat, great grip, doesn't skid around, doesn't stretch out, holds its shape, and it doesn't smell. Love that the company donates to a great cause. It's perfect.This has been a great yoga mat- thick and softThe mat itself is thick enough with the only concern that I have been seeing marks in the mat while I am using it in my stretch class but when I clean the mat at home, they aren't there anymore. I think it would be preferable to offer just the mat itself OR the package deal of the mat, bag, sling and towel. For myself, I haven't used the former two items and probably won't ever do so. While I did wash the towel, I haven't taken it to class with me as I prefer a thicker towel to protect my knees. So I paid more money for a mat just to get three additional items which I don't want. Hmm, don't think I will do that again.The mat is very comfortable and the perfect firmness for me. (Some thicker mats are too squishy.) The mat is 6ft long, has no noticeable smell ( I am sensitive to smells), is a beautiful color, comes with a plush towel and a standard carrying strap. I searched for an ecofriendly mat and found that plus a charitable pet cause. The cute smiling bully face on the mat sealed the deal. ?If you're serious about yoga spend more & invest in a thicker mat.This mat is amazing! I needed something that was soft and comfrotable to help me with my physical therapy after a broken leg and this is everything I wanted and more. My pit-bull also loves it and every time I roll it open she tries to beat me to it and lays down before I can get myself positioned on the mat. I may need to buy her one as a dog bed! I just love everything about it - the little pittie face was what sold me and it did not disappoint - I am a pit mom and this is just adorable.
