One of my best purchases on Amazon. For a lot of people recovering from surgery, this is an amazing assist to ensuring people wake up are alert enough to be safe in the middle of the night when they need to take a bathroom break. I hooked this up to a salt lamp which has a lower light level but is more than enough for night time when a person is getting up. The individual gets out of bed and when their feet land on the mat, the light automatically comes on. It’s just basically two pieces, the mat with a wireless signal that connects to a wall adapter and you plug your light into that. Follow the aforementioned instructions instead of trying to figure it out from what came with the unit because I did not find them useful. Anyway, this is a fabulous item and the person I bought it for totally loves it!
